Practical Animal Behaviour Workshop
Saturday 24th May 2008 10am – 4pm at Hatch Beauchamp Village Hall Taunton
Tutor: Fiona Warstat Dip.CABT
What is it?
This is a one-day workshop, learning the theory behind how animals learn, communicate and display emotion - with practical demonstrations using dogs.
Can I bring my own dog? No, sorry! Dogs are carefully selected by Fiona for the purpose of this work, to prevent any dogs being stressed too much!
Do I bring my own refreshments?
Teas and coffees will be provided, but please bring your own lunch. There is a pub and a hotel in Hatch Beauchamp if you would prefer to go there, though time is limited!
What do I need to bring?
A pad and pen to take notes, although you will be given handouts, sometimes you may wish to make your own notes, reading/distance glasses if you need them and a sense of humour!
Who can attend?
Anyone over 16 years who has anything to do with animals, especially dogs - although other animals are covered too! Do let us know if you would like support in any way – it can be provided!
How much will it cost?
£25 per delegate or £13 for concessions
Who do I contact?
Please contact Adult Learning and Leisure to enrol or for any queries - Tel: 0845 688 0488 (Course code: MA7TAF21)
